  • Digital technologies have become increasingly more important in the marketing and consumption of films since the rise of the Internet. Through utilising digital technologies, audiences can be easily reached in their day to day lives, whether they are using social media sites and come across the films marketing campaign, or if they’re searching through a VOD website and choose to watch it.

  • Digital technologies were vital for the marketing of Hunger Games, as Lionsgate heavily used social media to advertise the film and immerse the viewer in the production of the film.
