HM The Queen’s 90th birthday is perfect year to restore British Sovereignty

Dominating the news today is the celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th birthday. When you consider the transformation of both Britain and the wider world that has taken place during her reign, we can’t help but wonder how she might view the referendum in June. In my debrief of March 9th, I wrote on news reports that the Queen had been allegedly overheard backing Brexit. Whilst these reports were vehemently denied by the Palace, the year of her 90th birthday would surely be a suitable time for her country to take back its sovereignty and self-governance.

I remember the Queen referring to 1992 as her Annus Horribilis. Let us hope that in her speech of 2016 she has the option of marking this year as our Annus ad Libertatem.
