Ever wondered why your friend who study abroad/lived in Europe/visited Europe around Christmas one time always raves about those things called Christmas Markets? I mean it’s weird, right? Open air markets aren’t a new concept, and you can’t seem to grasp why your friend won’t just be quiet and drink their eggnog during the holidays. But what they know that you don’t is that Christmas markets have this magical quality about them that make them so memorable that no one can resist them!

Christmas markets originated in Germany and spread all over Europe and even America! They are usually 4 weeks long, and are a celebration of Advent leading up to Christmas itself. They have lots of great stalls decorated with beautiful Christmas decorations and filled with wonderful treats!
