Proverbs 1
8
Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching, 9 for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck.

Proverbs 6
20
  My son, keep your father’s command and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. 21 Bind them always on your heart; fasten them around your neck. 

Proverbs 23
22 Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.

I posted the above 3 scripture passages to think more broadly and deeply about the role of moms, specifically as it relates to the sharing of wisdom. Mothers could be described in several ways, but the Proverbs continually point to moms primarily as teachers to their children.
