My grandmother is afflicted with rumatory arthritis. She was once so active and vibrant, she now is immobile and in constant pain. Every year she gets the common cold usually around November lasting around two or three months before she can kick it. This is her usual cross to bear each winter. A big reason she goes to South Texas every winter to escape the cold. This year things went horribly wrong. Her chest cold would not go away. She went to a doctor in Texas who prescribed an antibiotic twice. Instead of relief she became worse. Suffering intensely she came home from Texas early and went to her regular Dr. who again prescribed two rounds of another antibiotic. Once again she began to get worse.
