Homemade Berry Jam – YUUUHHMMM!

Summer and berries are the perfect combination!

And having a freshly homemade berry jam to enjoy?

For breakfast, afternoon snack or dessert…. with pancakes, scones, on toast and butter….!

Its so easy to make…

You will need:

    • 750g of fresh mixed summer berries including strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries
    • 100ml of water
    • 400g of caster sugar

The Method:

Wash and remove any stalks from the fruits. Place in a pan with water and bring to the boil. Leave to simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the sugar, stir until it has dissolved and boil for a further 15-20 minutes.

  1. First things first, clean the fruits and remove any leaves/ stalks
  2. In a pan, put the berries and the water and bring to boil.
  3. Keep mixing gently (don’t break the berries, have them melt naturally)
  4. Do that for 15 minutes
