Summer time in France now means a spike in wine tourism! But of course, the vineyards do look amazing now. Rows and columns of grape vines lighted up by the golden sunlight. I would do anything to be back there again and again.

During this visit, we went back to Beaune to explore our beloved Burgundy. And naturally, we went back to one of our favorite restaurants, Ma Cuisine. Ironically, Food and Wine pairing is not an elaborated affair in this part of the world. Rather, it is already integrated into part of their daily lifestyle, matching a nice bottle of wine to be appreciate with food, complementing one another. It was always a pleasure to have a conversation with the restaurant owners on wines, especially the ones which pairs pleasantly with the food on their menu.

The wine that was suggested, and chosen, was a 2011 Nuits Saint Georges,
