The first stop on our big trip was Bryce Canyon National Park. Hubby was with us for this part of the trip, which was a nice way to kick off our big adventure. So much planning, thought, and work had gone into the trip that I was battling some serious anxiety in the days leading up to our departure. Then (because urgent care visits are, as we all know, reserved for moments when we least have the time or emotional wherewithal for added excitement) the biggest kid accidentally broke the littlest kid’s nose the day before we were set to leave. Lots of blood, lots of tears … and lots of ice pops, and he was on his way to recovery.
